I finally met Jason Koger! Jason is from Owensboro and the first person in the world to have two bionic hands after losing his in an accident. He is so inspirational and I’m so glad I got to meet him! Here is his link.
On my birthday I got to reunite with Coach Kyle whom I coached alongside this summer at NubAbility. My high school soccer team played the girls team at the school he coaches for. I scored too! It was so great to get to see him again!
Guess what? Kenzie’s Helping Hands is officially registered as an e-NABLE community chapter!! This is such an exciting privilege! Every amputee deserves the option of a prosthetic, and I’m so proud to say Kenzie’s Helping Hands can make this deserved opportunity a reality.
Today I had the wonderful opportunity to help 20 middle school students from Evansville at their summer robotics camp. It was fantastic because we assembled a dozen Phoenix Hands and learned about prosthetics along the way.
